This collection contains audio / video recordings of subject talks organized by the Hong Kong Public Libraries on a wide variety of subjects including social science, economics, culture, history, geography, philosophy, education, language, literature, art, health, information technology, science and etc. Some of the recordings could be accessed via the Internet.

Introduction:	The Hong Kong Public Libraries organizes a wide variety of subject talks on different topics such as social science, economics, culture, history, geography, philosophy, education, language, literature, art, health, information technology, science and etc. to meet the needs of the public in acquiring knowledge, information, for self-learning/ research and for leisure. Talk series organized include Subject Talks on Cosmopolitan Hong Kong, Monthly Literary Talks, Meet-the-Author, Public Lectures on History and Business in China, Philosophy Talks and etc. Recording of talks are available for public access via the Multimedia Information System through the Internet or inside public libraries. Tie-in booklist or resource guide are prepared to facilitate further reading.
