Changli Xiansheng Ji (Writings of Han Yu), 40 juan
Written by Han Yu (768-824); proofread by Liao Yingzhong (?-1275). Shicai Tang Edition in the Xianchun Period (1265-1274), Southern Song Dynasty.
Han Yu, also known as Han Changli, was ranked first among the "Eight Great Prose Masters of Tang and Song" and was an advocate of the ancient literature movement in the Tang Dynasty. Today there still exist many extant editions of Changli Xiansheng Ji, but the copy on exhibition is of particularly high quality as it was printed in excellent paper and ink and the scripts were well inscribed.
