Quanshan Jing is commonly known as the "Taishang Ganying Pian", a philosophy classic. It advises people to be benevolent, to protect the environment and to overcome superstitions, and promotes the traditional idea that "good begets good and evil leads to evil". It is not only a philosophy classic, but also an important material for studying the language and literature of the Yi tribe.
