Han Geyang Ling Cao Quan Jigong Bei (Inscription Recording the Achievements of Cao Quan, Magistrate of Geyang)
Cao Quan Jigong Bei is one of the best preserved Han stelae which exhibits exceptional finesse in craftsmanship. It was commissioned by the officials and residents of Geyang prefecture to praise the virtues of Cao Quan and his clan. The carvings on the stele marked a significant change in the calligraphic style of the clerical script. The rubbings of the stele were subsequently cut into strips and remounted in the present format.
