The Local Districts Profile presents a glimpse of the cultural and historical features of the 18 districts of Hong Kong through audio & video recordings, photos, newspaper clippings on arts and cultural activities, Ex-UC/RC's archives and other image collection in MMIS .

SEARCH WITHIN THE COLLECTION OF LOCAL DISTRICTS PROFILE

Introduction:	The 18 geographic districts are not only the administrative and development planning zoning areas of the government. They also represent the residential districts where we live and grow. Each of them is characterized with its special living culture and development past. Through the various materials in the HKPL Digital Collections, we can recollect memory of the past, in particular the community development, cultural events and facilities in the 18 districts.
