Since its operation in 1910, the Kowloon-Canton Railway (KCR) has been serving Hong Kong for over a century. The railway system was originally managed by a government department. Following the establishment of the Kowloon-Canton Railway Corporation (KCRC) as a statutory corporation in December 1982, the railway system was operated by KCRC. In 2007, KCRC merged with the MTR Corporation Limited.

Introduction:

This collection consists of books and publications about the Kowloon-Canton Railway, including an annual report dating back to 1946.  The books and publications provide much valuable information of the Kowloon-Canton Railway development and Hong Kong railway history.
