The Human Body
The human body is a complex organism and is operated by groups of organs which are called systems. There are several systems within the human body, such as the respiratory system which provides oxygen for the body via gas exchange; the digestive system which provides energy for the body by converting food into essential nutrients; and the circulatory system which channels the oxygen and nutrients to cells and tissues throughout the body, etc. All these systems work in coordination with others to keep the body functioning normally. The more you understand their work, the better you know how to maintain a state of health in your body. Connect to the MMIS to find out more.
