Festivals Around the World
The origins of festivals are usually related to traditions, religions, commemorations or thanksgivings. Some of the festivals are also associated with local or national holidays. Being living in a cosmopolitan city, Hong Kong people are able to celebrate both the eastern and western festivals, including Lunar New Year, Dragon Boat Festival, Mid-autumn Festival, Christmas, Halloween and Valentine’s Day. In fact, there are more festivals around the world. Connect to the MMIS to find them out.
